Come and meet Megan Davies on Second Friday, September 13th, and see her beautiful photographs of Uganda. There will also be paintings to see that were done by local artists who were inspired by Megan's mission. You will not want to miss this event! The work will be on display from September 13th through October 5th.
This is a really interesting show. You get a sense of individuals and life. Megan's photography is based on her desire to collect personal histories. Though it may seem at first glance documentary in style, her photos pull you in with composition and movement. Only basic digital printing is used and the images are stunning. The inspired paintings by local artists are beautiful.
