"Chapel Window" by TECAC Member Nancy Brown

On display at the gallery is Chapel Window, an acrylic painting on rice paper, 20"x16",  This stained glass window painting has a Batik-like look, which is achieved by applying hot wax to preserve the whites and lights of the painting. The process also includes scrunching up the entire painting which removes most of the wax, adding more paint, and finally, ironing smooth.

Stop by the Gallery to see this painting as well as others by Nancy.
